Key Responsibilities Experience working in large scale environments with MPLS, VPLS and other WAN technologies. Cisco datacenter routing, switching and security. Cisco/checkpoint Firewalls and VPNs. Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls and VPNs. Experience using load balancers like F5 or Cisco ACE. Juniper routing and switching, EX and MX series. Dynamic routing protocols like BGP, IS-IS and OSPF. Cisco ASA/PIX and FWSM. Experience managing L2 infrastructure with STP and MSTP. CCNP Certification (other Cisco or Juniper qualifications beneficial) Monitoring experience (Bandwidth and Connectivity) Experience working ITIL environment (beneficial) Skills and Experience Required 5 years’ work experience; Excellent personal inter-relational capabilities; CCNP Engineer with hands-on Routing and Switching experience as well as security and datacentre technologies Experience working on network deployments and administration of ongoing critical live networks. Feel comfortable by doing corrective maintenance for long periods of time; Be critical about solutions, providing positive suggestions how things could be improved.
