Our client is a multinational in Security Sector that is now looking for Business Services and Monitoring Key Responsibilities: Thorough security and monitoring business understanding Excellent knowledge of Monitoring software package in the market Strong knowledge in monitoring centers infrastructure setup (hardware, network, operations) Proven experience in Monitoring infrastructure projects roles Excellent communication and presentation skills, English written and oral proficiency is a must Knowledge of appropriate standards and regulations Ability to manage vendors and internal service providers against agreed service level agreements Good process analysis and problem solving skills Software application management in a relational database environment (SLQ Database support techniques and SQL query writing) Knowledge of Receivers (SurGard / Bosch / others) and understanding of operation of Signal Path as it relates to Security Monitoring. Ability to work with 3rd Parties supporting operations in problem determination and deployment of new services. Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server technology, Understanding of serial communications, including experience with modems and terminal sessions (Server 2008 / 2012, Lantronix and moxa serial servers) Telecommunications knowledge and experience Demonstrates interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment and communicates effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups Ability to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiatives Ability to interpret business requirements across multiple functions into detailed functional specifications in support of strategic & tactical projects. Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction Must be able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends and state of the art technology Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work in order to meet deadlines Must be able to create business cases, operational models, and financial model Must be able to maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization Profile: Provides support and guidance to business partners to enable the best information technology solutions that meet the business needs. The position bridges the gap between business partners and technology solution providers whilst working on abstract problems across all functional areas within IT with appropriate technical breadth. Key focus areas : PORTUGAL Monitoring SOC PORTUGAL Business services and associated delivery functions Exhibits Stanley Black & Decker Qualities of Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Speed, Stretch, Vision and Boundarylessness Key Responsibilities: PORTUGAL Monitoring SOC Support the delivery of monitoring systems projects that identify, design and implement business solutions and technology solutions including management of third party vendors. Assist our business in complex installations including connections to customers' IT facilities Support the harmonization of receiver platforms in Stanley Security PORTUGAL. Hands on approach in solving issues and incidents in IT and SOC (Servers, Routers, Switches, USP, NSA, PABX etc) in a mission critical environment Assist in managing projects economics including planning and budgeting, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from the relevant stakeholders. Assist with the day to day interactions with operations management and sponsorship. Assist in ensuring that Monitoring systems projects are scoped and resourced appropriately to maximize results (from both a financial, Human Resource and "user" standpoint) Support Program& Project Management for the IT infrastructure and systems to support monitoring centers PORTUGAL Business Services Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners and acts as a liaison between information services teams and the business stakeholders Promotes business projects and value to the IT leaders and community Support in defining , prioritizing, and managing program and project initiatives Gathers high-level business requirements and de?nes scope during initial discovery by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies Combines a general knowledge of multiple technology areas with knowledge of the targeted business function to de?ne and document the business requirements Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where con?icts / synergies exist between technologies and business functions Support the users in solution deployment knowledge transfer, instructions, training and testing. Working experience in an Security environment Education: High Education in computer science, management information systems, or a related field |
