Role • To process data accurately within tight deadlines • To automate data flows and processes • To create run, troubleshoot and optimise SQL code and stored procedures • Troubleshoot data performance and resource issues • Creating and maintaining technical documentation • Contribute to developing and maintaining policies and procedures • To design and deliver data validation, cleansing and data management processes Qualifications • Qualification in Computer related discipline. Knowledge & Experience • A thorough and deep understanding of database theory • Expert practical SQL skills, expert ability to design, write, validate and troubleshoot Transact SQL code (tables, views, indexes, constraints, functions, scripting and stored procedures) • Expert skills in performance tuning and optimisation using monitoring and troubleshooting tools • Expert knowledge of Index management • Knowledge of troubleshooting SQL server related I/O, memory, CPU and related resource issues • Knowledge of SQL tools, Profiler, SQL Server Management Studio, Soft Skills • Operate as part of a team • A high degree of accuracy is a key requirement • The ability to work independently whilst contributing to the team • Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese are mandatory requirements The role will be based at both our Dublin and Amadora offices with frequent travel between both required.
