Configuration Manager and Test Manager (mf)

Context
Team develops intranet applications in Microsoft .NET technology for several BP2S services and business teams.
Team works in several geographical locations, and are responsible for different IT project life cycle stages: Analysis, development, and several testing phases.
General technical environment: DotNET (C#), MS SQL Server, ExtJS
Project realization requires applicable quality rules (CMMI3 + internal rules) to be complied. Subversion and Sharepoint tools are used for configuration management.

This mission requires someone who works as Team’s Configuration Manager and Test Manager.

Main Activities:
•To guarantee the respect of the CMMI level 3 practices within IBS Team.
•Creation/update the Configuration Management Plan
•To Identify configuration items
•Administration of the Configuration Management System (Subversion, SharePoint or other)
•Creation of Baselines, Builds and Releases
•To report about the configuration status (history of versions, releases notes)
•Schedule configuration audits and take corrective actions
•To participate to improvement loop process
•To guarantee the respect for Testing rules, quality and metrics within the respective Team
•Monitor the defects indicators, classifications and reports in the several test phases

Soft skills:
•English
•Team spirit/capacity to work as a team
•Ability to learn and work with teams geographically separated
•Capacity of analysis and Autonomy
•Accuracy and organization

Technical skills:
•Knowledge of the CMMi practices or IT experience within an organization applying these practices
•Experience with testing tools (like Quality Center)
•Experience with Configuration Management
•Experience with Change Management (like JIRA and subversion tools)
