Profile: -MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields -Ability to travel -More than 3 years of experience in Java software development -Experience with git and maven is valued -Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading -Experience in Java (JDK8 is valued), Hibernate, JPA (JEE is valued) -Knowledge or experience with Spring, Akka, vert.x is valued -Experience with Application servers is a plus -Database concepts and SQL (ORACLE will be valued) -General UNIX, and/or Windows knowledge is expected -Good knowledge of Telecommunication Technologies (SDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet, IP, MPLS-TP) will be a plus -Openness to new environment, people and culture -Fluent English language, spoken and written -Personal Attributes -Strong analysis skills -Willingness to learn, discover and research -Good communication skills including capacity to share knowledge -Responsible and accountable -Autonomous and able to work with minimum supervision -Problem solving ability -Open communication and ability to work in international team. This job requires a broad knowledge of software engineering practices and design patterns with focus on Java development. The main challenge is to analyze the requirements and features from our Product Management, have a depth understanding about what is being required and solve the problem from software engineering perspective. You will be also debugging the existing versions and propose enhancements taking into account the cost/benefit relation. Need more reasons to consider us?
