Data analysts collect, process and perform statistical analyses of data in order to discover how data can be used to answer questions, solve problems, help management make decisions and set goals. Responsabilities: - Gather and interpret relevant data and information when analyzing existing databases to be decommissioned. Extract, summarize and compile data gathered for analysis of potential replacement solutions; - Assist in planning, designing and implementing solutions for automation or replacement of historical databases/files using group solutions; - Interaction with end-users to determine solution requirements and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain solutions proposed; Work closely with appropriate areas of the business to understand & document their requirements and related tasks. - Continuous search for innovative solutions, following group guidelines, to improve processes that drive the teams to reach a higher level of performance Profile: - Minimum of Degree diploma - Good Knowledge of MS Access; SQL; VBA; MS Office tools; Java - Excellent communication skills - Language skills: English - Analytical Skills: Data analysts work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions. - Communication Skills: Data analysts are often called to present their findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas. - Critical Thinking: Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings. - Attention to Detail: Data is precise.
