Our client is one of the biggest companies in the Information Technology sector. Expanding its team, is now recruiting:

Devops Engineer (m/f)
Lisbon

Reporting directly to the Field Responsible, the professional will be responsible for:
- Join a team to design, implement and maintain VB Application Lifecycle Management;
- Mentor internal teams to achieve Continuous Delivery;
- Work collaboratively with the software and support services engineering to deploy and operate our hardware and software platforms;
- Work towards full automation, monitoring, virtualization and containerization;
- Devise strategies to scale and harden our software and hardware stacks;
- Create and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations;
- Aid development teams with tools and services to enhance productivity;
-Propagate Continuous Delivery, best practices and processes automation all around the company.

Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science or other engineering-related field;
- Experience with deployment and delivery techniques;
- Experience with automation using Chef, Puppet or another SCM tool;
- Work knowledge of the APT, NuGet and Chocolatey package managers;
- Operational Knowledge in relational database systems (PostgreSQL, SQL Server);
- Advocate of Test-Driven development;
- Demonstrated experience in Windows and Ubuntu Linux Administration;
- Experience with distributed version control systems (Git, GitLab) and continuous integration (Jenkins);
- Solid knowledge in the common protocols (TCP, IP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, SMTP, SNMP);
- Solid knowledge and experience in virtualization and containerization technologies (KVM, Proxmox, VirtualBox, Packer, Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes);
- Solid knowledge and experience in software development (C#, Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python, Bash, PowerShell);
-Solid understanding of the full compute stack: storage, networking, OS, virtualization, containerization, configuration management and provisioning;
- Strong focus on business outcomes.
