NFV/SDN Deploy Engineer (m/f)

QiBit is the company dedicated exclusively to the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), belonging to Gi Group, one of the world is leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market.

We are searching for a NFV/SDN Deploy Engineer (m/f) to to work directly in our Client – a multinational telecommunications company – who will be responsible for running Virtual infrastructure & OSS infrastructure delivery (implement & test) and change management activities, in accordance with the strategy and the goals of the domain, being accountable and responsible for low level design and deployment of Network Function Virtualization / Software Defined Networking (NFV/SDN) solutions for the European markets.


Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering of assigned solutions within Europe;
• Coordinating suppliers, engage with peers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of functionality and quality in projects;
• Develop the strategy for the subdomain and initiate projects and control initiatives contributing to that.


Main requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or similar;
• Previous experience in telecommunication or IT;
• Strong focus on engineering and architecture of NFV/SDN solutions;
• Knowledge of IT standards;
• ITIL, ETOM and project management techniques (e.g. Prince2) knowledge;
• In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure, cloud, virtualization architectures and operational processes;
• Cloud computing architecture and design (IT and Telco) knowledge as well as Telco OSS/BSS Solutions;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Customer oriented and systematic way of working;
• Strong individual thinking & judgment;
• Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change.
