We are searching for a Oracle Database Specialist (m/f) to work directly in our Client – a multinational telecommunications company – integrating the Service Design, Readiness & Support team and being responsible for supporting and influencing the development of IoT Solutions, ensuring that changes and upgrades are operationally correctly designed and deployed. Main Responsibilities: • Actively supports and configures the platform and the delivery of key system & process activities by providing day-to-day operational tasks; • Conducts Root Cause Analyses and suggests improvement measures; • Acts as Oracle product specialist influencing the IT factory team in adopting a design and architecture strategy for the database layer, ensuring that what is suggested/provided by these teams will fulfil the solution’s growth. Main Requirements: • BSc or MSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar; • Proven experience in Oracle database design and architecture practices and/or administration; • Strong knowledge in Oracle database products - Exadata and/or Weblogic; • Broad understanding of IT application technologies; • Good knowledge of IT network platforms (is a plus); • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills; • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision; • Good communication, presentation and relational skills (interacts with internal and external technical teams); • Good analytic and critical thinking. • International experience in a fast-moving innovative environment (will be valued); • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
