TV Product Analyst (m/f)

QiBit is the company dedicated exclusively to the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), belonging to Gi Group, one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market.


We are searching for a TV Product Analyst (m/f) to work directly in our Client – a multinational telecommunications company – who will engage with other project senior stakeholders to guarantee requirement quality and completion before it reaches development. Taking a high-level management approach, this role will oversee all requirements in future release cycles from inception to dev delivery providing a consistent product strategy through the TV project.


Main accountabilities:

• Requirement gathering and discussion with all key stakeholders;
• Requirement Analysis, Creation and Design transforming it into a global feature that fits the TV project;
• Produce product specifications for TV features;
• Engaging with Design, Technical and Test teams in describing and making sure the specifications are well understood and clear.


Main requirements:

• MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields;
• Relevant experience in the TV industry in a Cable/OTT operator on a product definition and analysis role for 5+ years;
• Knowledge of TV solution core elements such as: VOD, EPG, TV Middleware, Recommendation Engines, Metadata Platforms, Content CMSs, Ingestion platforms, STB OS, Driver layers, Chipset integration, CAS, DRM, Video Streaming over Cable or IPTV, OTT Apps;
• Knowledge of core TV UI concepts and functionalities such as: TVOD, SVOD, PVOD, Bundles, Catalogues, EPG, CMS, Settings, Zapping Banners and Social Integration;
• Good communication skills (both written and spoken);
• Diplomatic, reasonable and show good application of common sense and pragmatism;
• Strong interest to work in an international and fast-moving innovative environment;
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills able to adjust own style to suit audience and achieve objectives;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), second language an advantage.
