Their path forward includes active exploration of IoT, Computer Vision, Machine (Deep) Learning and other technologies. Recruiting a Data Scientist (m/f) for Aveiro (North), you will integrate innovative and exciting projects, where you will have the possibility to work in areas such as big data and the internet of things. Profile: - Academic degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or in a similar area; - 2+ years of software development experience with OO methodologies in designing software solutions for high availability systems; - 2+ years of experience with Python development and Unix shell scripting; - Working knowledge of R Statistical Software; - Ability to build service and maintain statistical models (time series); - Background in Agile software development methodology and test-driven development; - Skills with Angular, and/or React will be valued; - Experience working with mobile technologies is a plus; - Knowledge in SQL/NoSQL/Graph databases and streaming media analytics is also valued; - WiFi SLAM algorithm experience is a plus; - Fluency in English, written and spoken; - Sharp critical thinking skills, including systems and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution, and sound judgment/decision making ability. - Availability to travel (on occasion).
