We are currently looking for a smart and enthusiastic API Software Engineer, for a Software House in Porto. We are a group of people who love technologies. Some are programmers, others work on customer support. There are also these guys who spend their lives recruiting, and some others do the possible (and the impossible) to assure everyone’s having the time of their lives. We develop products, and we provide services. What are the requirements? 7+ years developing object-oriented PHP for database-backed websites with extensive experience in APIs and Micro-services Full stack development expertise Strong understanding of most popular design patterns (MVC, SOLID, Dependency injection) Experience working in an agile environment and with techniques like Continuous Integration, code reviews Excellent understanding and experience of web application security best practices Excellent experience in API, Rest API development and XML/JSON processing Strong experience in MySQL Understanding of code documentation practices and tools Experience with testing tools (phpunit, behat, phpspec) and methodologies TDD, BDD Experience with profiling tools (xdebug, webgrind, xhprof) Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar Experience with version control systems e.g. GIT/Mercurial Proficient in both spoken and written English What are the benefits?
