Our client is the international financing, investment management, insurance and financial services arm of one of the largest banking groups in France, with 108,000 employees, present in 46 countries and with 35 million customers across two retail banking networks. With +16,000 experts in 36 countries our client is building a really amazing and big tech center at Porto. Part of our Application Services business area and a Banking project, as Java EE Team Leader, you will be situated within the studies department of our client’s DSI, in the domain Insurance within the WEB team. The WEB team assures, among others, the MCO and the developments for the applications extranet Insurance (Life and Provident) put at the disposal of two retail banking networks. The WEB scope also includes an internet retail customers application. Your responsibilities will include: • Management of the incidents and the requests of assistance. Respect for the deadlines of corrections following the priorities of the anomalies, the requests of support etc. Implementation of an adapted reporting; • Management of the life cycle of the application. Follow of the smooth running of the application. Proposal of improvement action; • Management of the requests: instruction of the need, planning of the requests within the framework of the versioning Implementation of the evolutions; • Contribution for the projects Phase “before project” in association with the project team. Review and/or validation of various ready for delivery. Participation in the developments. Preparation for the passage in maintenance. Requirements • Information Technology academic degree or similar; • Relevant professional experience in a similar role preferably acquired in a banking environment; • Project management advanced skills; • Java EE programming language expertise; • Websphere, JBOSS, IHS, IIS Introscope, AppDynamics proficiency; • Services REST / SOAP know how; • GIT, Eclipse, Maven competences; • JavaScript language knowledge; • English fluency, written and spoken.
