Creativesystems, part of Johnson Controls International, pioneer in RFID solutions for retail, logistics and manufacturing is recruiting a Data Scientist (m/f) for S. J. Madeira for ShopperTrak department. ShopperTrak is revolutionizing the brick and mortar retail world with innovative products that fuel their success. The path forward includes active exploration of IoT, Computer Vision, Machine (Deep) Learning and other technologies. You will integrate innovative and exciting projects, where you will have the possibility to work in areas such as big data and the internet of things. Profile: - Academic degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or in a similar area; - 2+ years of software development experience with OO methodologies in designing software solutions for high availability systems; - 2+ years of experience with Python development and Unix shell scripting; - Working knowledge of R Statistical Software; - Ability to build service and maintain statistical models (time series); - Background in Agile software development methodology and test-driven development; - Skills with Angular, and/or React will be valued; - Experience working with mobile technologies is a plus; - Knowledge in SQL/NoSQL/Graph databases and streaming media analytics is also valued; - WiFi SLAM algorithm experience is a plus; - Fluency in English, written and spoken; - Sharp critical thinking skills, including systems and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution, and sound judgment/decision making ability. - Availability to travel (on occasion).
