Our client is a prestigious company that is crafting software of great complexity that is being used by very well known companies around the world.. Aiming to acquire new talent for its teams, we are currently looking for :

Head of IT Operations (m/f)
Porto

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he/she have main responsibilities:
- will oversee our Software Development Teams having its Team leaders as direct reports;
- ensure exceptional customer experience and for establishing processes for managing and prioritizing internal resources to establish efficient and high quality operations;
- Manage IT operations, including all Software Development, Product and Service Delivery;
- Manage technical prioritization and resourcing efforts;
- Create and drive an ongoing environment and culture of exceptional customer experience;
- Supervise Customer Support;
- Maintain exceptional communications with the organization’s leadership, customers and staff;
- Develop key performance indicators and perform continuous process improvement;
- Coordinate IT recruiting process internally;
- Oversee vendor selection processes and vendor and contract management.

Profile:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or similar discipline;
- 3-5 years experience working as a Software Engineer, with strong emphasis on Web Technologies;
- 2-5 years experience as IT Manager, Technical Operations Manager, Lead Developer, Service Delivery Manager or similar;
- Past experience as a Developer;
- Proven experience with networks, communications, servers, storage systems, backup/archive, integration systems, high availability, disaster recovery and data security systems;
- 5+ years demonstrated success in leading a team;
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Fluent in English.
