Spring Professional is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator (M/F) for its client operating in the technology sector.

Main Responsibilities

- Provide local IT support in the Porto office to all colleagues as part of the initial phase of the Hostelworld expansion in Porto,

- Collaborate with colleagues in development and engineering to solve complex problems and deliver robust / scalable / secure platforms;

- Provide systems administration for the Linux based e-Commerce systems;

- Take ownership of issues to resolution demonstrating a positive / can-do approach;

- Liaising with external service providers as necessary;

- Designing, building and maintaining the next generation of the e-Commerce systems.

Education & Experience

- A minimum of 2.1 in a Computer Science related degree or related qualification;

- 7 plus years of IT experience;

- 5 plus years in a global e-Commerce technical systems administration role;

- 5 plus years administration of an enterprise Linux platform;

- Experience with common virtualisation Technologies;

- Experience in supporting 24x7 e-Commerce systems;

- Experience with Open Source Technologies:
