Scala Developer - Nearshore Project

Growin® as developed a nearshore team based in Lisbon dedicated exclusively to UK market and distributed systems. We basically develop to our UK clients software with high level standards of quality in complex projects in several industries.

Due to our successful incursion to this market, he have in hands a 3 year project team for one of the biggest companies in London. All the development will be done in Lisbon by Growin Nearshore team. So, we are looking for SW engineers mindset, with the following competences:

•Degree in Computer Science or similar;
•More than 2 years experience as a SW engineer;
•Solid Java experience;
•Skilled in Scala, Kotlin, Java, Python, OO Patterns, XML/XSD, SQL/RDBMS (Cassandra, Hibernate, Sybase, Oracle, PL/SQL, ODBC), Middleware (Kafka, MQ Series, Tibco, ActiveMQ, JMS P2P/Pub-Sub);
•Solid knowledge in Gradle/SBT/Ivy/Nexus, Web (HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, REST, Webworks, Freemarker, Velocity, PHP)
•Experience with Webservices REST;
•Great communication skills;
•Fluent in English (written and spoken);
