We're focused on great UX with the user in mind. Our goal is to build a scalable, user-friendly and easily maintainable backend and frontend. Your job will be to conduct human and automated tests on our software to make sure it performs properly and is easy to use at all times. As QA Manager, you'll assist in establishing quality standards for our software's development life cycle, including documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance. You'll be making recommendations to improve overall quality while working with software developers and project support teams.You need to deliberately try to do things that will crash the software (ie. make it stop functioning), determine weaknesses in the computer code and provide feedback regarding functionality/usability concerns. Requirements: Highly attuned to scalable and high-performance applications Highly attuned to how non-technical software users work and think Able to understand a product's life cycle, including requirements, development, testing and release Able to work on multiple projects at the same time Basic understanding of UI design and usability principles, including UI/UX and Content Management Testing Basic understanding of UX architect Nice to have: Able to write and execute test scripts Basic knowledge of backend technologies (SQL, PHP, Linux, etc.) Basic knowledge of frontend languages (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.).
