Scrum Master (m/f)

QiBit is the company dedicated exclusively to the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), belonging to Gi Group, one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market.


We are searching for a Scrum Master (m/f) to work directly in our Client – a multinational telecommunications company – who will have as main responsibilities:

• Delivering IT capabilities using Agile methodologies, serving and supporting the Product Owner and DevOps Team;
• Helping removing impediments for execution, coordinating with other teams and partners to remove barriers to team’s progress;
• Support the Product Owner in better defining user stories, plan sprint iteration, and managing the product backlog;
• Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team on how to get the most from self-organization;
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity;
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, facilitating discussion, decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution;
• Facilitating the work is done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work, promoting meetings, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, among others;
• Managing Delivery Risks and collecting team KPI’s;
• Promoting continuous improvement through retrospective and team learning.


Main Requirements:

• BSc or MSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
• Previous experience in a Scrum Master role for minimum 01 year, preferably on software development and on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts;
• Good knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
• Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (burn down techniques, retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.);
• Knowledge of other approaches discussed in Agile space (XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD);
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills;
• International experience in a fast-moving innovative environment (will be valued);
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
