Azure Support Engineer – Iaas Platforms Who we are? ITEN is one of the fastest growing IT companies in Portugal in recent years. It currently has around 360 employees and has more than 30 years of experience in the IT market. In May 2017 ITEN was acquired by Claranet, now integrating a group with operations in 8 countries. Because we aspire to do more and better, we are looking for a Azure Support Engineer – Iaas Platforms, to integrate into the team of one of our clients. Your responsibilities include: · Strong desire to continuously learn new technologies · The ability to troubleshoot complex web application issues in an often ambiguous environment. · Understanding of programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging. · Ability to thrive in a strong team environment focused on providing a consistently high level of customer service in a challenging environment You must have? · At least 3 years of technical support experience (in a Tier 2) including experience in a customer facing or customer technical support role. · Technical skills in at least one of three areas: Windows System Administration/Virtualization, Networking, OS/Application Deployment and Troubleshooting. · The ability to troubleshoot complex web application issues in an often ambiguous environment. · Understanding of programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging. · Familiarity with Azure services and offerings is a plus. · Ability to thrive in a strong team environment focused on providing a consistently high level of customer service in a challenging environment. · English language essential both spoken and written. · Knowledge of additional European languages an advantage.
