Support Engineer Azure App Services Who we are? ITEN is one of the fastest growing IT companies in Portugal in recent years. It currently has around 360 employees and has more than 30 years of experience in the IT market. In May 2017 ITEN was acquired by Claranet, now integrating a group with operations in 8 countries. Because we aspire to do more and better, we are looking for a Support Engineer Azure App Services, to integrate into the team of one of our clients. Your responsibilities include: · Strong desire to continuously learn new technologies · The ability to troubleshoot complex web application issues in an often ambiguous environment. · Understanding of programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging. · Ability to thrive in a strong team environment focused on providing a consistently high level of customer service in a challenging environment You must have? · Knowledge of IIS configuration and how HTTP requests are handled by IIS. · Understanding of how HTTP requests are handled end-to-end including HTTP headers, cookies, etc. · Knowledge of the .NET Framework and how to develop ASP.NET applications using C# and VB. · Knowledge of MVC frameworks, particularly ASP.NET MVC. · Working knowledge of Visual Studio and the Azure SDK. · The ability to troubleshoot complex web application issues in an often ambiguous environment. · Knowledge of HTML and CSS. · Understanding of programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging. · Understanding of PHP, Node.js, Java, JavaScript and popular frameworks such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal a plus. · Familiarity with Azure services and offerings is a plus. · Ability to thrive in a strong team environment focused on providing a consistently high level of customer service in a challenging environment · English language essential both spoken and written · Knowledge of additional European languages an advantage.
