As a result of a partnership between Randstad Technologies and one of the largest multinational companies of telecommunications, we are looking for an Java SW Engineer. Main Tasks: participate in the development cycle, including analysis, design implementation and tests of the features, using Feature Driven Development approach, combined with some agile practices in a container-based microservices architecture. An active participation in team decisions to continuous improve our methods, software and team satisfaction is expected. Profile: •BS or MS degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science; •Experience with git and maven, application servers is valued; •Knowledge in Java (JDK8 is valued), Hibernate, JPA (JEE is valued) and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts; •Knowledge or experience with Spring, Akka, vert.x is valued; •Database concepts and SQL (ORACLE will be valued); •General UNIX, and/or Windows knowledge is expected; •Good knowledge of Telecommunication Technologies (SDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet, IP, MPLS-TP) will be a plus; •Fluent English language, spoken and written; •Strong analysis skills; •Responsible and accountable; •Problem solving ability; •Open communication and ability to work in international team.
