Majime Solutions is looking for a Corporate Support Software Engineer (Java) M/F Responsibilities: - Life Cycle Management, patch upgrade - Main support activities are the handling and processing of tickets for: Service requests and Incidents - Work collaboratively with other teams, participate in architecture, design, and development to ensure proper support once applications are productive - Infrastructure monitoring, Environment Performance Tuning - Understand the business and customer needs to support users of JAVA/J2EE technology based applications mainly our in-house applications - Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems Qualifications: - Java / J2EE - MVC frameworks (Struts) - Web-technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, other client-side frameworks) - Enterprise Integration Patterns, Messaging Oriented Middleware, Enterprise Service Bus - IBM Informix and DB2 SQL RDBMS - UNIX AIX / Windows - IBM WebSphere Application Server / HTTP server - Working knowledge of at least one of ticketing and/or ALM systems (TFS preferred) - Working knowledge of at least one of source code versioning systems (TFS preferred) - Good spoken and written English (international team) Skills: - Goal-oriented - Good team player - Self-motivated and well-organized, committed and result-driven - Detail-oriented - Able to deal with stress and high time pressure Languages - English (spoken & written) - Other languages an advantage Your job location will be Portugal and you will be part of our client īs Corporate IT Team with peers working in Basel, Switzerland.
