Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering or similar Solid Knowledge in Unix Platform, Open Source languages Proven Knowledge with OSS Good command of the English language Responsibilities Develop backend solutions according to requirements Assist new to feature development and bug fixing Work closely with architecture to develop elegant APIs and services Estimate effort and track hours for assigned work Competencies Strong work ethic and motivation High level of initiative, responsibility and team spirit Ability to work well in a team environment Creative mind with strong critical thinking skills Analytical thinker able to draw conclusions from data Ability and willingness to learn and teach others Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English. Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills Technical Skills Valuable knowledge in software development Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL Knowledge in at least one server-side dynamic programming languages like Python, Perl or Ruby Solid knowledge of Web service protocols, e.g., HTTP Good understanding of API development and REST Experience with Git and Agile development Familiarity with automated deployment strategies We offer: - A contract with a leading company in Retail-Design sector; - Salary according to the position responsibilities and candidate's experience.
