Cyber Security Analyst (m/f)

QiBit is the company dedicated exclusively to the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), belonging to Gi Group, one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market.

We are searching for a Cyber Security Analyst (m/f) to work in a multinational leading company of Engineering solutions, who will have has main purpose to detect, analyze, investigate, and defend against sophisticated digital attacks as a member of the Cyber Defense Center.

Main responsibilities:
•Performing network traffic analysis;
•Using attack signatures, tactics, techniques and procedures associated with threats;
•Applying technical principles, theories and concepts to complete assignments of limited scope;
•Reviewing threat data from various sources and developing custom signatures for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and other custom detection capabilities;
•Demonstrating a basic grasp of knowledge/principles in the Cyber Security environment.

Main Profile Requirements:
•Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other similar areas;
•Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
•Knowledge or experience in Firewalls, Proxies, VPN, covert tunneling, Layer 3 switching, intrusion detection systems and data reconstruction;
•Knowledge or experience in Windows File System structure, and ability to recover deleted files, search hidden files, access the ADS and analyze disk slack space;
•Ability to analyze the Windows registry and understand complex Network Infrastructures;
•Ability to perform network signature analysis using SNORT, NetFLOW, WireShark, tcpdump or other related tools;
•UNIX/LINUX system administration, configuration, troubleshooting and scripting skills;
•Knowledge of central log collection, indexes, searching and analysis and event logs interpretation in the context of security events/intrusions, ensuring accurate conclusions;
•Demonstrated ability to learn in a fast-paced environment;
•Organized, detail-oriented, research and analytical skills;
•Fluency in English (both written and spoken), German will be a plus.
