Hovione is an international company with over 55 years’ experience in the development and compliant manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Drug Product Intermediates. With four FDA inspected sites in Portugal, the U.S., Ireland and China, Hovione offers integrated API, particle design, formulation development and GMP manufacturing. In the inhalation area, Hovione is the only independent company offering such a broad range of services.

To reinforce our team we are looking to fill the following position at our Lumiar site: Full-stack Developer (M/F)

This person will be responsible for developing and implementing application software within project timelines and Hovione quality and documentation standards, applying knowledge of systems and tools and problem solving skills to support core business and informatics processes and solutions; proactively resolving or escalating problems when appropriate; This person will also be required to participate in the execution and documentation of system testing, as well as to maintain and develop own knowledge within the software development domain while supporting colleagues with your solid expertise.

Responsibilities:
-Full stack web/mobile application development with a variety of languages;
-Implement web or mobile interfaces;
-Work closely with infrastructure team to build and scale back-end services;
-Comply with all global IT governance, standards and policies.

Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Information Systems);
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a Full-stack developer building responsive, web and mobile applications;
- Client side: Javascript – ECMAScript 6, AngularJS framework (1), HTML5 , CCS3, Bootstrap;
- Server side: MSSQL server 2016 with experience in building nested JSON queries, NODEJS, Python // Anaconda, experience in full lifecycle of RESTful API development from documenting, designing, building and testing, experience with consuming web services;
- Advantage will be given to candidates with experience in: Scrum methodology, versed in .NET technologies (webapi), Gulp, Github / Altassian, MOCHA and CHAI, API documentation tools such as SWAGGER / OpenAPI 3.0, javascript Standard Style, Arduino and/or RasberryPie development;
- Knowledge and competence in proper UX Application design will be valued;
- Good English verbal & written communications skills are essential;
- Smart individual with initiative, results-oriented and have a track record of timely, high quality deliverables with a focus on the Customer
