Kelly IT Resources is recruiting Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (M/F) to integrate a multinational client who is leader in online booking, located in Porto.

DESCRIPTION
Kelly IT Resources, owned by American multinational Kelly Services is the business unit specialized in Recruitment & Selection and Outsourcing of Information Technology professionals.
Founded in 1946, Kelly Services is an American multinational company leader in Human Resource Management which is present in over 30 countries. Quoted on NASDAQ stock exchange, Kelly Services employs 560.000 professionals annually. The turnover achieved in 2017 was 5.5 Billion USD.

RESPONSABILITIES:
o Develop robust and scalable web applications for high traffic products;
o Develop customer facing features for high traffic applications;
o Work across different areas of the software stack;
o Contribute clean, secure and maintainable code to the product;
o Contribute to the evolution of the overall product/system architecture;
o Optimising code for performance and scalability;
o Estimating projects, working closely with technical and business teams at each stage of the development lifecycle;
o Mentor members of the team to enhance and share knowledge;
o Provide guidance, feedback and input on the product roadmap and technical strategy;
o Liaise with internal teams - Development, Systems, Product and QA to ensure strong execution and implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:
o 7+ years object-oriented PHP and web development experience (PHP, MySQL, APIs);
o Full stack development expertise;
o Desire to establish and improve development processes;
o Experience in conducting code reviews;
o Strong understanding of most popular design patterns (MVC, SOLID, Dependency injection);
o Proficient in all web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax);
o Experience in developing with PHP templating engines (Twig, Smarty);
o Experience with component based JS frameworks;
o Experience working in an agile environment and with techniques like Continuous Integration;
o Experience in developing websites and web applications for multiple device types;
o Excellent understanding and developing web application security best practices;
o Strong experience developing and integrating with APIs;
o Experience in MySQL 5.5+;
o Understanding of code documentation practices and tools;
o Ability to quickly learn, understand, test and debug existing codebases Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set;
o Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar;
o Experience with version control systems e.g. GIT/Mercurial;
o Proficient in both spoken and written English.
