We are looking to hire a Corporate IT Team Lead for Application support Solutions to manage, with the associated team, the corporate portfolio of IT business services and solutions supporting Panalpina business processes globally. These IT solutions are based on variety of technologies and platforms, including Java, .NET, WebSphere, IIS, Mobile Applications, etc. Responsibilities: (1) Manage global IT business services delivery according to business expectations reflected in SLA, focusing on Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management processes (2) Act both as a technical expert in given field as well as a leader who will take the full accountability for the services and solutions portfolio (3) Lead a geographically distributed team of 3-5 internal and external IT support specialists (4) Understand supported business processes and priorities (5) Manage relationships with IT and business stakeholders and global IT teams and 3rd parties (6) Contribute to IT systems architecture, design and security discussions (7) Support the implementation of IT solutions and key components of overall IT architecture and security Qualifications - Higher Computer Science or Information Technology education - At least five years of experience in providing IT business services and supporting IT business applications - 2 years' experience in leading IT development team (2-5 people) - Very good knowledge and understanding of Java/J2EE, PHP, .NET as well as good knowledge of front-end stack (HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, JQuery, other client-side frameworks) - Strong relational database (Informix DB2, MS SQL, etc.) knowledge and experience with data modeling and development - Understanding and experience in development and support of mobile applications for iOS, Windows and Android would be an advantage - Knowledge of IBM WebSphere application server would be a plus - ITIL foundation certification - Knowledge and experience in Waterfall and Agile product and project management is an advantage Skills - Team Leader managing efficiently a virtual team (different locations, time zones and cultures) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to motivate others - Customer focus - Organizational, planning and prioritization skills - Highly reliable, with high sense of responsibility - Able to cope with pressure and a fast paced environment - Persistent yet flexible, positive and open attitude to changes - Agile, fast and capable learner - Strong analytical and problem solving thinking - Self-motivated, committed and result-driven Languages - Excellent command of English - German and French are an advantage Specifics for Job / Environment - You will be part of our Corporate IT CoE in Lisbon (Saldanha) with international peers. - International environment - Up to 10% travel Please submit your CV in English to https://jobs.panalpina.com/job/Lisbon-Corporate-Support-Software-Engineer-%28Websphere-Applications%29-2-1/*********/ |
