Functional administrator Junior – P2P system - Basware

Europcar Services is the Pan-European Shared Services Centre of Europcar Business Services opened in Oeiras - Portugal in early 2014 to handle and provide, mainly, financial services and to harmonize and optimize processes. Growing fast, in terms of processes and staff, Europcar Services counts, nowadays with more than 300 employees, becoming one of the biggest sites of Europcar Group.


Main Purpose of the Role:
In a team of functional administrators for Finance applications based in Europcar Mobility Group Lisbon Shared Services Center, the administrator for the P2P system will be in charge of the functional administration of Basware; the day to day support for users located in the Shared Services Center and within the Group HQ & subsidiaries


Key Areas of Responsibility
• Operate functional administration of the P2P System
• Contribute and operate governance for P2P system in support of technical experts and process owners
• Drive and design functional requirements
• Maintain the standard design of application
• Contribute to the continuous improvement for P2P processes
• Management of administration modules
• Operates the day to day data management of users rights
• Operates the functional data management in the system, ensuring standardization of the process
• Answers users’ functional questions; Operates as a link with IT
• Guarantees compliance with business rules and controls
• Actively identifies and takes ownership of analysis and propose design of solutions supporting best practices
• Works collaboratively with the functional IT desk and the technical ITs support
• Contributes to the requirements design
• Prepares and monitors Testing
• Ensures reliability of data flows
• Resolves application bugs


Key skills
• 2 years + experience in finance/accounting/P2P,
• Experience in P2P system or Financial system administration/Basware is a +
• Advanced Excel & Basware/Oracle Finance is a plus
• Solid understanding of Finance information systems and application of process automation using technology solutions
• Successful similar experience within a Shared Service Center, with proven ability to transform business and process
• Experienced with financial system functional administration
• Experiences in driving operational improvement using methodologies
