Spring Professional is hiring for its client in the technological sector a Project Manager (M/F), Head of development, for the Porto area.

Responsibilities

- Identify and document requirements and set reasonable project timelines;

- Identify and describe software architecture in the different application layers by working with Lead Architects to transform requirements in to solutions design;

- Manage, Analyze and troubleshoot, the backlog of issues for the assigned components;

- Assists in establishing, enabling, and improving project management and software development methodologies, procedures and policies;

- Manage the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) by lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists;

- Ensuring that all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production).

Requirements

- Experience as a Software Engineer;

- Previous experience as a team lead;

- Knowledge of other Agile approaches;

- Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques;

- Experience with MySQL database management and Data Modelling;

- Git lover and working knowledge of GitHub.

Nice to Have

- Ability to pick up new languages quickly like Java or Python;

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB (including analyzing queries, finding bottlenecks);

- Experience with PHP Frameworks, such as Zend and Doctrine;

- Experience in JavaScript ans UI Frameworks such, Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery, Dojo, jQuery, NodeJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, React.js, etc.
