Machine Learning Engineer

Challenge

Our client is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context. You will work with data scientists and engineers, on state-of-the-art methods for supervised and unsupervised learning, utilizing big data from a large ammount of users, optimizing predictions of low events and human behaviour and create toolings to improve development of machine learning pipelines, helping the team to improve current methods and models and bring them into a production environment. 

Profile

• Masters degree or PhD in computer science or a related field
• Experience in software engineering/deployment to production
• Expert in Python and/or Java
• Experience implemeting and deploying machine learning algorithms in a production environment
• Great familiarity with machine learning concepts like cross-validation, clustering and supervised vs unsupervised learning
• Ability to use tools like Spark (big data)
• Able to work independently

Bonus Skills

• Data processing experience with wearables/sensors
• Data engineering knowledge
• Familiarity with Kafka
• Familiarity with mobile development
