Spring Professional is hiring for its international client, who is the largest online platform of accommodation booking, a DevOps Engineer (M/F), for Porto.

Main Responsabilities

- Work within a team of like-minded professionals to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications;

- Design and implement appropriate automation workflows to environments for those applications and engineer suitable release management procedures;

- Automate the provisioning of applications and infra-structure using Ansible playbooks and Docker containers;

- Participate in the Development process to ensure high quality code and the appropriated unit tests developed;

- Conducting code reviews to make sure your work and others are rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance;

- Troubleshoot problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customers;

- Participate to the Agile DevOps design, development, improving, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release quality and post-production support;

- Creatively solve scalability challenges on a rapidly expanding environment.

Profile

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;

- 4 years of overall experience in professional software engineering;

- 2 years of hands-on experience as DevOps engineer;

- 1 years of hands-on experience with Ansible;

- Solid experience with OOP development with Java, .NET, PHP or equivalent;

- Solid experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash);

- Strong understanding of MVC, SOLID, Dependency injection;

- Solid experience with SQL or NoSQL databases;

- Solid experience with Bamboo or Jenkins;

- Experience with Cloud services;

- Excellent proven track record with Apache or Nginx;

- Experience with Varnish, Memcache or Redis;

- Expertise with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);

- Experience with version control systems (GIT/Mercurial);

- Experience with testing tools (Junit, phpunit, behat) and methodologies like TDD and BDD;

- Linux Systems administration experience (Redhat/CentOS);

- Solid understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, firewalls, VLANs, DNS.
