Because we aspire to do more and better, we are looking for Big Data Consultants to integrate our Client internal team, based in Lisbon. Big Data Consultants responsibilities are design, administrating, collecting, storing, processing, and analysing of huge sets of data. Your responsibilities include: • Select and integrate any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities. • Implement ETL processes. • Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes. • Define data retention policies. You must have: • Experience with Hadoop clusters, with all included services. • Proficiency with Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS. • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala. • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB. • Technical degree or certification. • English literacy.
