PL/SQL Developer (M/F) Porto

ManpowerGroup Portugal is hiring a PL/SQL Developer to a client leader in data management, reporting solutions for the investment management, insurance, and banking industry. The role is to analyze and define, together with the business users, the IT solution for clients’ data integration into our existing application landscape. The PL/SQL developer will develop and document complex PL/SQL processes and packages following best practices and providing unit testing. Receive accountability to manage your own sub-projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance all objects packages/functions in PL/SQL to support application process;
• Perform functions including SQL tuning, database application design, and developer support;
• Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds;
• Understand the requirement and analyse on a technical feasibility and design;
• Coding the requirement and proper Check in / Checkout in Version control;
• Unit Test Cases Preparation and Execution;
• Code Review and Checklist document preparation;
• QA, UAT and PROD Release Scripts/Package Preparation and Validation;
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate delivery of software application.

Technologies

• Languages: PL/SQL;
• Frameworks: Oracle Data Integrator;
• Databases: Oracle;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent;
• 2-5 years' experience in PL/SQL development and exposure to Oracle solutions;
• Knowledge in multiple software development lifecycle phases, including design, construction, and testing;
• Work in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision providing technical guidance to the team members;
• Fast learner and can think out-of-the-box;
• Teamwork, Passionate about work and code Quality.
