UI Designer (M/F)

Challenge

Our client has been Germany’s leading information provider in the commercial real estate sector for almost 30 years, providing their clients with information that aids them to make informed decisions and complete successful deals. This company works with investors, asset managers, brokers, banks, project developers, valuers and consultants.

As a UI Designer, your responsibilities will range from creating high-quality designs, graphics, mock-ups and layouts for both new and existing web applications, designing for a variety of platforms including mobile and desktop browsers, creating designs to help the product team understand the desired customer experience, including high-fidelity wireframes, flows, prototypes, etc. You will also create intuitive interfaces and interaction layers using best practices, the latest web trends and all available tools to augment the user experience.

Coordinating with product managers and executives, you will incorporate specific design requirements, visual treatment, and organize information.

Profile

• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Knowledge of the German language (B2 or higher)
• A portfolio of past projects (mandatory)
• Bachelors degree in human-computer interaction, graphic design or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in human-computer interaction, usability and UI design and/or visual design
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Experience using design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision, Omnigraffle, etc
• Experience with product development life-cycles of web and mobile applications
• Ability to balance usability with great design
