Digital Solutions Architect (M/F)

We are looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to integrate the IT Team of our client – a reference company in the telecommunications sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

• Focus on the delivery of IT solutions to support Vodafone’s Assisted and non-Assisted channels;
• Support projects and define the architecture for the solutions implementation;
• Evaluate new initiatives and provide architectural guidance for application design and development;
• Define Domains Target Architecture and ensure updated documentation of the AS-IS Architecture;
• Define and maintain a roadmap for the domain;
• Work in close alignment with the product owners and the group architecture to understand the existing challenges and constraints and adapt to the existing group recommendations, guidelines and target architectures;
• Establish the liaise with the continuous improvement team to understand the existing operational constraints in the domain and suggest corrective measures.

What is required from you?

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, Telecommunications or similar area;
• Previous experience in projects within the domain, preferable with a Solution Architecture or Senior Developer role;
• Knowledge of IT telecommunications architecture, applications and systems with focus on the identified domain;
• Background and solid knowledge of modern Web development patterns and technologies;
• Background and solid knowledge on Customer Identity management and SSO challenges and solutions;
• Good knowledge of Cloud Native design patterns including Containers and Microservices;
• Knowledge of TMForumStandards (eTOM, SID, Open API’s, …) is a plus;
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
