For integration into our Support Team, we're looking for a support engineer with about 2 years of experience, that will work with external users (VILT customers) and internal users (VILT employees), and use their expertise about various tech and computer systems to help troubleshoot issues, or maintain day-to-day operations. What you will do: Providing support for customers in person, via phone, or via email/ticket. Providing support for VILT employees in person, via phone, or via email/ticket. Monitoring day-to-day performance of tech systems. Diagnosing and troubleshooting tech problems. Helping VILT and clients implement new hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, etc. Talking to clients and VILT users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter Responding to breakdowns Requirements & Skills Technical skills: Good knowledge of Linux and Windows (administration and main commands) Basic network knowledge (Iptables/firewall/routing/etc....) Basic application/web servers knowledge (Tomcat/Apache/Weblogic/Jboss/etc...) Nice to have Basic Scripting and Programming Experience (Bash/Java/etc....) Nice to have database knowledge (SQl Server/Oracle/Postgres) Nice to have Virtualization environments knowledge (VMWare / Veeam) Nice to have experience in managing Azure Cloud or AWS cloud Soft skills: Good Communication (good English and some Spanish if possible) Flexibility Customer Service (ability to listen to the customers requires) Problem-Solving Enthusiasm for continual learning If do you think this job Is who you are, please send your CV to ---@--- until We look forward to receiving your application.
