The Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Junior Systems Administrator delivers technical solutions and support to clients allowing them to maximize their investment in cloud technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in client facing roles and success implementing cloud-based solutions, migrating workloads to the cloud, and experience with connecting and managing hybrid cloud environments. As well as experience supporting on-premise infrastructure in a typical business environment. Responsibilities * Design and development of integrated solutions using the latest cloud products and technologies * Design/Build Azure solutions (new or migration of existing workloads including Proof of Concepts) * Design/Implementation/Support/Monitoring/Maintenance of Windows server (physical and virtual) * Design/Implement disaster recovery technologies * Research and recommend new technologies that will enhance production platforms in the areas of high availability, business continuity, cloud solutions, performance, and cost reduction * Collaborate with the clients/customers to assess near and long-term technology needs * Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion * Provide systems design and capacity planning * Interact/Negotiate with vendors and solution providers to secure systems, products, and services * Maintain Microsoft Active Directory end user group policies, accounts, permissions, and access rights * Manage server and data backup systems in compliance with disaster recovery plans * Manage servers, including mail, database, print, file, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software * Manage and maintain the virtual servers and storage environment * Development, implementation, and maintenance of company technology policies * Perform helpdesk duties as required for infrastructure and server systems Technical Skills: * Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends * Deep technical experience in infrastructure design including private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security, and storage If you have the required profile, please submit your CV. |
