More than 40 highly skilled Consultants, Data Scientists and Engineers 20+ Customers operating in 5 countries Data from more than 700 stores collected and analysed More than 1.000.000.000 data records processed and analysed More than 10 partners worldwide WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer: 5-10 years Software Development or Management Experience Have 5+ years in a Data Warehouse environment with varied forms of data infrastructure, including relational databases, Hadoop, and Column Store Ability to maintain calm conduct in challenging situations Critical thinking ability Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations Experience in designing, developing and implementing an enterprise DW/BI system Be familiarized within continuous delivery principles: version control, unit and automated tests REQUIRED DEGREES Bachelors degree, Masters or equivalent in Software Engineering RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the customer to ensure successful completion of software implementation projects and ensure delivery of quality service Build fault-tolerant, adaptive and highly accurate data computational pipelines. Tune queries running over billions of rows of data running in a distributed query engine. Contribute to the core design of data architecture, data models and schemas, and implementation plans Designing, developing and implement DW/BI Big Data processes and Business Analytics Solutions Constantly evolve data models & schema design of our Data Warehouse to support self-service needs Find innovative solutions through a combination of creative thinking and deep understanding of the problem Provide updates to management team and co-workers on customer/project status, proactively identifying issues and resolving or escalating as appropriate SKILLS Good team working attitude with analytical and creative problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas, collaborate across teams and influence teams to resolve issues Attention to detail Time Management Ability Ability to maintain calm conduct in challenging situations Strong programming background Have basic knowledge of Hadoop/Big Data Have good analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-moving operational environment and you are enthusiastic and with a positive attitude OTHER REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to work with professionalism and confidentiality and is able to work independently, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment Fluent in English language A Cool Person, with a Great Attitude!!
