TalentSeed is currently recruiting a Mobile React Native Engineer for Antwerp (Belgium) or Toronto (Canada).

CHALLENGE

Our client is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context.

As Mobile React Native Engineer, the candidate will work with an SDK Team while having a contribution to the quality of the output in a high growth working environment. With the purpose of providing a good interface and a high-quality user experience while gathering data about the user itself.

• Building and improving the app experience;
• Work with designers to develop interfaces and work with data engineers and scientists to track and monitor data quality from the SDK;
• Working with public and private API’s in order to make data accessible.

PROFILE

• Computer Science degree (BSc or MCs) or related field, with 2 years of working experience and fluent in English (mandatory);
• Experience with TypeScript conventions and patterns (frontend and backend)
• Work experience with NodeJS ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React/ React Native, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with social media environments
• Knowledge of testing patterns and supporting frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Unit Testing, Snapshot testing)
• Strong understanding of GraphQl and RESTFul services’ conventions and architecture

BONUS SKILLS

• Understand the structural parts of a React application
• Experience with css-in-js patterns
• Notions of functional programming
• Experience with improving or setting up CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of the different tools involved
• Ability to create a bridge between the Native language and JavaScript code
• Work experience with Neo4j, SQL, NoSQL
• Ability to use data visualization tools (namely, d3.js)
