UX/UI Designer – Antwerp, Belgium or Toronto, Canada (M/F)

CHALLENGE

Our client is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context.

As a Junior UX/UI Designer, the candidate is expected to be enthusiastic about good product design and one of the focuses is thinking about how to improve the UX/UI and take it to the next level. The candidate should be able to create designs that are robust in a rapid, expansion surroundings, be avid to learn and have an energetic and creative attitude towards work.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing the UI and UX of mobile and web applications.
• Work with both broadly defined, loose concepts and narrowly defined deliverables.
• Work on different projects such as demo applications, audience/mobility/health dashboards, and developer applications. This includes sketches, wireframing, rapid prototyping, application structure, content, and data visualizations.
• Work with the product owners to find the best results

PROFILE

• The best candidates must be experts in UI, UX, visual design, and have skills in various disciplines across product design.
• Experience turning large amounts of (aggregated) complex data into understandable visualizations
• Efficiency in arranging mock designs/wireframes for rapid prototyping;
• Previous experience in the design for business and developer-focused products.
• Expert in Sketch, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator, and have knowledge of new design tools and plugins.
• Experience implementing front-end in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Fluent in English.
